For over ten years, Agathe Kalfas has been working in the conception and management of cultural projects, both in France and internationally.

After starting her career within the French cultural network abroad, she became, in 2014, the Director of Parole de Photographes, an organization dedicated to promoting photojournalism and visual literacy. In 2019, she founded her consultancy, AK Whispers, supporting photographers in the development and promotion of their creative projects.

As an art director, journalist, photo editor, trainer, and independent consultant, Agathe Kalfas is active across a wide range of the visual arts field.

She collaborates regularly with Fisheye magazine, Revue EPIC, the online media outlet Les Jours, the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (Arles), and the training organization Eyes in Progress.
