WHAT CLÉMENTINE CAN BRING TO MASTERCLASS PARTICIPANTS
De la Féronnière offers participants a model of collecting and trading based on authenticity and continuity: how a gallery chooses the photographers it represents, what it means to acquire an artist's archive rather than simply selling their prints, and how a publishing house like Maison CF disseminates a photographer's work beyond the gallery walls. For collectors who wish to move beyond acquiring individual prints and forge a more thoughtful relationship with artists and their estates, her gallery offers a concrete example of what this entails on the other side of the transaction.
